How was Fisher for you lot? That's him back at Dens now. Any chance he can be a potential solution to our CH woes?

Didn't do much for us, but our defence was makeshift anyway. Think he needs another loan spell somewhere else, possibly a League Two club where he can get a consistent number of games.

Aye wtf is that all about? I’ve noticed that quite often on Forfar’s stuff now and I’ve never, ever known them to be known as the Athies. Thought I had missed something.

Whoever writes the Facebook/ websites seems use the term. I hate it, should be Loons with Sky Blues a very distant second imo.

I’m older than many on here and I’ve been aware of the term Athies since i was a wee lad. I’m not a fan of it or the Sky Blues, though the latter isn’t so bad now we’re playing in sky blue again, those years when our predominant colour was navy blue it was ridiculous.
To be fair they can’t use Loons every time.

One that does get me is Forfar FC, the Courier are the worst offenders with that one, we are Forfar Athletic FC.

I always thought Forfar folk preferred  " Farfar " as that's how they "leds" all seem to pronounce it .

He looks a player (ignore previous statements), it's a shame he didn't have an Anderson-Travis or a Whyte alongside him to learn from, pretty sure he will be 1st team pretty soon.

I think there are 2 Tweeters (is that the correct term?) on the club's Twitter. One of the directors does the official stuff and away matches. The home match tweeter is someone else, someone probably younger.

For me I don't find a problem with the match-day Tweet updates, it's better to see a tweet saying (GOOAALL! FOXY!) Rather than (Goal 97' Fotheringham Forfar 2 - Linlithgow 1)

We just haven't scored very often so these tweets aren't very common.

I am said  younger tweeter. Open to constructive criticism and still learning. I make no apologies for being a supporter however.

Will also stay away from the term 'Athies'

Hoti recalled to United due to suspension of the lower leagues. Unclear if he will return once the league comes back.

Disappointing as I think he was just beginning to find his feet.

Keep at it.

Ignore people who want bland, dull, soulless matchday tweets.

If we cant be there, I want to know what it feels like to be there.

Thank you.

Although you've all dodged a major bullet this season.

You’re doing a fine job pal. Hopefully there will be games to tweet about soon [emoji1303]
