Forfar Athletic News 2018 onwards

Anderson is a tremendous signing. I'm not sure how he'll be injury-wise, but he absolutely changed our season last year turning a shite defence into one which looked a lot more assured. Aside from from being sold as a rock in defence, he's an absolute pro and sets a really high standard. Old school style defender who doesn't f**k about.

He’s 34.
The point still stands, why are we throwing about 2 year deals?

When let's be honest, malcolm was being found out just before lockdown.

Decent signing on paper.
Just hope it doesn’t turn out to be a Simon Mensing type signing....

How very fucking dare you compare those two.

Ando  is tiers above Mensing and always will be.

I’d blocked that out of my brain tbh! [emoji23]

Him and Whyte at the back seem like a good partnership, whilst Travis is recovering.

What will it take for a positive post from you?
Competent management? That would do nicely.

If everyone else is happy to be a happy-clapping moron then you do you.

Malcolm was struggling last season but from my point of view, it’s a clean slate now and everyone should get behind him.

34 isn't old is it? Dods was 39 the season we chucked the play off final.

Anderson was outstanding for Raith against us last season but after last summer's signings I'm wary of saying too much.

Andy Graham is 36 and is captain of a Championship side. Plenty of other examples of players that age doing perfectly well in the lower leagues. Considering Forfar had the second worst defence in the league last year, signing possibly the most experienced centre back in the league might be a decent starting point.

Exactly. Forfar have had plenty over the years. Questioning giving him a two year deal is just moaning for the sake of it.

Sir Sean Dillon 36 also not captain  but still every bit as good as when signed him 2-3 years ago.
