Kelty Hearts lowland league quest

Notice club secretary offered to resign. Surely the player concerned must take some of the blame as he must have known he was cup tied
Football players generally are as thick is shite in a bottle. He'd probably be none the wiser due to a lack of brain cells.

It's a mistake and that's it. Fair play to the Secretary but even more kudos to the board for refusing a resignation over an honest mistake. The timing couldn't have been much worse though what with the pantomime with BF and the downturn of results.

Ferguson should be resigning not the Secretary

You still here? Surely you should be out looking for cones to photograph?

I was going to post an ineligible cone but didn’t fancy having to come back and explain to you that Jeanfield had removed the reflective sleeve after they used it

So the secretary makes an honest mistake, it’s brought to his attention, he admits his mistake and the club inform the authorities.
Offers to resign because of the mistake and is talked out of it.
Now it’s down to thick players, the manager... Twitter manages to bring Rangers and ebt’s.... Scottish fitbaw eh?

At least now we know what Barry has brought to Kelty

I know Gary, and I know he'll be gutted, as everybody at the club will be.

Whatever the outcome, it was a really decent game.

What a load of pi** that is. Our Secretary called Camelon Secretary yesterday and asked if they would like us to help them in being re-instated back into the competition in our place. You play an inelidgible player in a competition then its a given you are out.

Just reporting whats been said, dont shoot the messenger!!!! -

Camelon manager Gordon Herd told the Falkirk Herald this morning that he was phoned by Kelty Hearts on Sunday morning and the club admitted to the mistake they had made. Kelty had initially hoped that the match could be replayed but given the situation with Bo'ness earlier in the campaign, Herd added "It can't be one rule for one, and one for another". Herd said: "It's more or less certain that they'll be kicked out. It's a formality and we are just waiting on it being announced."The boy that they played illegally scored and took the corner for the second, I actually thought he was man of the match."
