come on shire
Congrats to Kelty but now that they're leaving the LL there won't be anymore trips to that nice wee pub The Kings which is a shame...

Hillonearth
Well done to Kelty and all the best for next year...they were the ones who got the ball rolling on the whole thing, so it's only right and fitting they become the first ex-junior side to reach the SPFL.
HibeeJibee
Congratulations to Kelty. Juniors to SPFL in 4 seasons.
Deanburn Dave
Who takes Keltys place if Brechin go into the Highland league? None. There were 17 teams in the LL last year when the BU's were promoted into it and no team was relegated. Kelty promotion takes it back to 16......plus two OF colts next season.

IIRC nobody, the LL will play with their usual 16 next season, instead of the 17 it would have been.

Nobody as 16 is fine for the league in numbers terms. They will probably be joined by the Old Firm colts to round things off at 18.

Being a pedantic git but Cove Rangers had a single season as junior team in their transition from the ammies to the HL. I agree with the sentiment though. If you want to be double-pedantic Edinburgh City briefly played at junior level in the '50s too!
