KH4 Posted May 23, 2021 Share Posted May 23, 2021 That was a rough 90 minutes. Brechin done well considering they were playing with 10 men for so long. Its only when Brechin opened up a bit later in the game that Kelty looked like they might get a goal. Really pleased Kelty managed to win all 4 play off games. A pre season and maybe some strength in depth up front and i reckon we'll make a decent go of it next year. Kelty making the SPFL was never a foregone conclusion. The playoffs are a tough hurdle to clear if you actually win the league, and winning the league is only going to get tougher. I am going to miss the lowland league. Kelty abstained in the first ballot as they didn’t feel it would be appropriate to vote given that they may not have been in the LL next season. However that is it!! The rest just straight into the ex servicemens club blanking them, the manager walked off and ignored them, all singing his name and went straight in, he appeared 5 minutes later i assume after someone told him to, for a picture with the young lad in the wheelchair. Village club is what we all hear, someone needs to have word with the manager who these guys adore and tell him to seriously work on his PR skills!!!
