Kelty Hearts lowland league quest

That might never happen despite all the hype about it. Think herd immunity might turn out to be they key instead and given how badly the UK got hit there's a good chance it's not that far off. Once things reach a point where most of the population has already been exposed to it and there are relatively few new cases and daily deaths happening, pressure will start to build to accept COVID19 as just another risk we all face every day of our lives and return to normality.

Hope your right. Its a bad state of affairs when your getting excited about German football.  Even if BSC are involved. 😂

Laughable from kelty .

They didn't win a playoff against highland.

They didn't win a playoff against league 2.

The club are making no friends with the sfa or spfl  clubs here and that will come back to bite them in the future here.

Pure desperation here from a club who have chucked everything at this.

Hope the recent donations page looking for money won't be used to put toward massive legal costs on a flimsy case that will come to nothing.

What a shambles from the rangers men now in charge.

Money would be better spent on cctv in and around the ground.  Something practical .

The funniest possible outcome now is Kelty forcing a play-off at some point via the courts, then getting beat by Brechin in a few months time.

Not really sure this will go anywhere, tbqh. Kelty and Brora weren't denied automatic promotion, they were denied a chance to play-off for promotion, as were several other teams up and down the leagues. Shit luck undoubtedly, but what exactly can they hope to achieve by taking legal action?

It's painful how little you know...

Also, having a dig at the community club for someone stealing from them is beyond low, the work those people put in to provide for those kids is endless and you attempting to score points on it shows how much of a scumbag you truly must be.

As insecure as they come. Pathetic.

They hope to achieve the play off opportunity I'd assume... 🤷‍♂️... I'm sure Falkirk etc will be followimg closely if not participating....

Surely its better for everyone to just start the next season as soon as football is able to return. Play offs would postpone the season by a further two months at least by the time the teams had a pre-season, played the play off games then prepare for the next to start. It's not feasible.

Kelty are showing themselves to be a joke of a club through this. They throw the toys out of the pram and crave attention as soon as something goes against them, remember when they were having gos at Selkirk during their struggles? There was no guarantee that they were even going to win the league anyways.

Maybe they banked on getting promotion and the moneys beginning to run dry? I don't think many people will be buying conservatories during these troubling times.

Forget the preseason. All starting on a level playing field. If players haven't been keeping fit. Tough.

Just get the games played 😊

2 months to play 4 games.... Away you go.

Kelty were given the title, begrudgingly... You think raith would be happy to get a their title and not go up? Honest answers only please.

If you think an entire football club runs on "super conservatory power" then you're needing to maybe get involved at your local and see what it takes.

Okay, so you're saying that the players and clubs would be happy to play the play off games the minute football is allowed back? They'd want a pre season. If say football was allowed to be played on August the 1st, the players wouldn't have played together in 5 months. So, say they want a 3 week pre season, followed by the 4 play off fixtures, that's you already more than a month in. Then are you going to just give a weeks turnaround for the promoted or relegated team to get ready for the season? No chance.

Kelty were playing for a title that guaranteed them a play off. Raith were playing for a title that guarantees automatic promotion. All play offs are cancelled it's pretty simple.

So if it goes back July 1st then what?

Guaranteed them a play off they are not longer getting because 1 out of 4 decided it wasn't going ahead... Doesn't seem right does it?

There wouldn't be a problem in the first place if there was a proper pyramid system in place with automatic promotion and relegation places. I take it the opportunity was lost when the 42 members at the time voted on the playoffs option?

Even if there was automatic relegation from League 2 there would still be a problem, since Kelty and Brora wouldn't be able to play off to see who went up.
