Stupidest post ever? Paying over the odds for a large squad definitely helps performances and results you absolute thicko

Here we have an example of an absolute roaster calling a sensible poster an absolute thicko.  We should start calling you Tramo Kink because you need some tramadol to soothe your Kelty seethe.

Yeah, me ‘being a bawbag and a fan of a useless SPFL club’ is another way to bring attention to Kelty. You’ve absolutely nailed it Einstein.

2022.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle welcome Kelty Hearts for today's Scottish Championship match.

A storied rivalry between these two clubs going back to 2019.

It all began when former Caley forward Nathan Austin dropped down the leagues to sign for Kelty Hearts - Kelty apparently paying wages more than Inverness could afford which enraged the Caley fans.

Even worse a Kelty Hearts fan called a Caley fan a bawbag on the Kelty thread on Pie and bovril which has made the "bawbag derby" even more massive in Scottish football.

Nathan Austin was our 3rd choice striker (4th at one time) and had repeatedly failed season after season in the Championship. He wasn’t good enough for full-time football which is why he was set to join Airdrie until Kelty came in with a huge offer of around a grand a week. The enraging thing about Nathan Austin is that we employed him in the first place, he was shown up against Talbot just like he was continually shown up in the Championship.

Kelty fans don’t take too kindly to anyone pointing out that they have splashed the cash unsustainably and are attempting to buy success.

Paying a grand a week to LL players isn’t unsustainable?

Theres no one at our level anywhere near that never mind half it. Youv just shown yourself up to be either a troll or someone who doesnt really have a grasp on things at part itme level. Why would Nathan go back to his job he had at East Fife as a labourer getting up at 6am every morning finishing at 5pm at night 5 days a week on a building site if hes on £1k a week at Kelty. jeez.

Are Kelty in administration or liquidation right now? No. So they're paying their bills.

That's the only known fact right now. You don't know how much they're paying Austin let alone others.

From a quick check on his situation it brought up a press and journal article saying he only lives 20 minutes away and is going back to his old profession. Which makes sense since he was brought up in the Fife area and that's where he probably has old contacts from his East Fife days.

He gave full time football a go. Only got to the Scottish Championship level. Where as you point out he was only ICTs 3rd or 4th choice striker.

With a young family it seems a sensible move and he may have gotten a couple of years on his contract instead of going year to year bouncing around SPFL clubs.

Rangers and Hearts weren’t in administration or liquidation for the duration of their cheating m8. My source tells me Austin is on a grand a week and somebody posted earlier that Easton is on £750 a week. Worrying times for the Kelty IMO.

They also had public accounts that proved for years prior how unstainable their finances were. You don't have that with Kelty. Right now you've got an uncredited source for one player and hearsay from this forum of another.

Until you know the club's income and expenditure entirely you can't say it is unsustainable.

Because Kelty have only just started with their ‘heavy investment’ and all they have to show for it so far is a public live TV bottlejob.

My source is 100% correct.
