Did you consider putting match prices up to £8 this season, would have thought that would still be reasonable for this level? Never even thought tbh, we put them up last year although we feel we give real value for money wether its the matchday experience, hospitality or through our season ticket pricing or installments payments Think next year we will see a few of the bigger clubs increase the pricing as the Lowland League grows and there may be VAT to factor in for some clubs too, £8 is about right amount at this level so we feel theres value at £7.

I very rarely come away from a game not having thoroughly enjoyed the match. I also look forward to the next match immensely no matter the opposition. -

Salvo Montalbano
Its set by the SPFL Gogsy, minimum entry is £10. We would have been our normal price had the rule not been in place. Not sure that's correct - a few games between proper teams and colts sides in the Challenge Cup have been free or a token couple of quid in previous years. Normally there is a rule about prices if the clubs can't agree a price, but that's usually the normal home ticket price unless there is a minimum set somewhere in the competition rulebook.

Exact wording from this years Competition Regulations - Board Minimum Prices for Ground Admission for Challenge Cup Matches All Clubs/clubs competing in the competition: Adult - £10.00; and Juveniles and Senior Citizens - £5.00 (subject that the Home Club may decide to permit entry to the Match to all U12s without charge).

Yeah but: 8.5 Any Home Club wishing to charge less than the Board Minimum Prices of Ground Admission must obtain the written consent of its opponent prior to the Match taking place. Though I'm not sure exactly how charging less would affect the share given to the visiting club in 8.1, as it mentions the actual minimum or board minimum, whichever is higher.

If both clubs agree, you can charge whatever you want (which has included letting everyone in for free or a token entrance fee of a couple of quid in previous seasons) but if not then it goes to a minimum. I'd be very surprised if Kilmarnock would turn down an entrance of say a fiver, or at least the usual Kelty entrance fee, given that there will in all likelihood be around zero Kilmarnock fans going.

Sure it was last season that QP played Killie reserves and wanted to reduce the price but couldn't as killie objected. Edited to Add Albion Rovers v Hearts reserves in £6 and £3 with U12 free obviously Hearts are more flexible than Killie. Nimmo's Notes
Shire played Motherwell colts last season and I don't remember our prices being any higher than normal. I'm sure there would have been a few disgruntled voices otherwise! Guess it's all down to the away club agreeing.

leomessi1984
Looking forward to a good game today! Hopefully the Star don't have as good a time agaianst us this time round. Bit gloomy & wet in Fife but a 4 nil win for the Kelty will lift that!

HibeeJibee
Watched this. "Exceedingly robust" Dalbeattie tackling and Kelty profligacy kept it to 3-0 at HT. Second half rout - albeit Star squandered a few chances. Gulp-inducing chasm in quality.
