KierenAAFC
We were in a similar boat to Raith last year. Comfortably finished above Brechin and lost. Swings and roundabouts. Play-offs is a smashing system and that’s not being biased because we seem to do quite well in them ... [emoji6]

You realise we moved away from the two up two down system precisely because there were too many teams with no important games left to play at the end of the season? Play offs are a success whichever way you look at them. They generate interest, money and the (vast majority of) fans enjoy them. Changing back to the old system would be counter-productive. The good news for us is that there's always at least one full-time side that shits the bed in the Championship. Sadly for Dumbo, Falkirk appointed Paul Hartley last season, and we all know what he can do. Around half of the sides we'll be playing against next season will have seen recent action in the third tier. A decent summer for Jim and we'll have every chance of not ending up with the wooden spoon, at least.

Meh, Brechin chose to set their club up for the future rather than pushing the boat out to stay in the Championship, I've no problem with that. They've paid the price of relegation and likely won't live that season down. 1 minute ago, BigFatTabbyDave said: The good news for us is that there's always at least one full-time side that shits the bed in the Championship. ICT look to be your best bet next season - losing some key players and replacing them with what appears to be a lower standard of player so far. Rumours of their budget being cut.
