Is that no Brian that goes onto the pitch at the very start and pushes the Cove player before eventually holding Cox down at the end?

A cove player squared up and forcefully pushed a Cowden player earlier in thye game and didn’t even receive a yellow even though the ref saw it he just warned him. Therefore pushing is fair game in this game ,

Surprised that Cox was not carded. He pulled the Cove player by the hair right in front of the assistant ref. Obviously a fight over who had the best hair.

Why on earth are the cove fans chanting ‘cheat, cheat’?

their player tried to assault brad smith and put him in the dugout with a wild challenge.

The are obviously very honest and fair fans and were shouting this at their team. Kept shouting it as well. Clearly upset by their dishonest team.

Bit harsh for a soft push.

If it had been the player that was tackled that had got up and pushed the player like that then he would have walked.  The fact that this was a sub that shouldn't even have been on the pitch makes it a stick-on for action.

Why should we expect consistency in officiating?  Since when has this been a thing in the lower echelons of the SPFL and has anyone notified the SFA so that they can re-train the individuals concerned?

Went along as a neutral today in the Cove end as i had a soft spot for them after we played them in the cup. Thoroughly enjoyed it, heads gone and all.

Same as most folk have said, Cove bossed the first half and Cowdenbeath didn't seem to have much about them. Heavy suspicions of offside for one of Coves goals though.

Second half was the reverse with Cowdens defence taking a step back and dealing with Coves hoofball well. It just seemed like nothing went right for Cove second half. Missed the foul for the equaliser so cant comment on that, honking goal to concede though.
The winner was a joke, absolutely amazed they didn't call for a foul on the keeper as it seemed blatant. Still, it happened and there was a lot still to play for in the remaining 20+ minutes but Cove lost the head and created nothing at all except one of the best collective heads gones seen in the SPFL.

Tremendously fun game to watch and well done to Cowdenbeath for staying up. Cove will head back up the road cursing the ref but a more professional performance could have seen them equalise.

Yes

They were chanting that in the first half too. Bizarre.

Cove aren’t used to having things not go their own way. The moaning and bitching today from them today was much like any league game they play only reversed, when their carthorse no.5 Eric Watson referees games and has the boy in black blow the whistle for him. They don’t like it when these things go against them.

Things didn’t go against them today tho. They blew it, plain and simple. Tie should have been done a week ago and today should have been a procession.

Plenty of players shove others and don't even get booked.

Heard unofficially that there was no way Cove were winning that today.  ....................Hence the 2nd half heads gone from the officials as mentioned earlier.

Aye right, very good. ‘Heard unofficially’ pish. Stuff of the tabloid press. Perhaps they just weren’t good enough.

Wtf is Sheran moaning about. He and a raft of backroom staff and subs appear in the Cowden technical area and start shoving people about. Is that allowed in the highland league and what he means by the system being against them. ?

Pleased that Cowden have retained their status. Another great escape for the club. I know a lot of people didn't fancy their chances this time around. Good luck for the future guys.

Everything is allowed in the Highland League. Mass sending offs and scrapping are not unusual. Fortunately not something we see at our level.
