Not sure who has made the biggest Jeremy Hunt of it. A board which has been used to budgeting having to slash costs after a successful season. Or the team needing to beat Stranraer at home to help fill the budget deficit. Going to be a long season if the manager can’t get his other two signings. Hoping that money magically appears as the board realise we are short. Wouldn’t be the first time we’ve been told there is no cash for new players to then appear

Based on a draw?

No based on the fact we’re still a couple of players short and progression from the league cup was pivotal to us getting a couple of extra bodies in.

We’ll be nowhere near top 4 but there’s enough in that team for us to stay up.

Here’s hoping McCall puts a bit of pressure on the board as we need a physical presence up front.

Christ almighty, what a load of utter drivel being posted.

Using the same warped logic, you'd still expect us to make the relegation play off spot as Dundee Utd would be automatically relegated if we're basing the whole of next season on a couple of Betfred cup matches which are little more than glorified pre-season matches, granted they've been very lucrative for us in recent seasons.

Get a grip............

So merely staying up is the best we can hope for this season? Oh joy.

Considering our recent record in this league is usually a singular season before relegation, we’re also dealing with a smaller budget than last season (which was small enough) and a new squad with several of our best players away.

Staying up in a league that is firmly our level isn’t a bad season.

Spoiler

Hugely depressing second half . Could have been home and hosed if we had taken our first half chances . Not many got pass marks in the second half . Zero physicality in the team so when the slick passing game fails to produce the goals we are unable to battle through it . Thought moving Doc out to the right heralded the capitulation in the middle of the park ,even Kerr coming on did little to stem the tide  . All in all a bad day at the office and if that's our transfer budget gone then we can only pray that the injuries are non existent this season .
