The new PA system and wall was coveted by the lottery I’m sure.

They gave a donation for it but I don't think it was for all of it.

Apparently you're after Scougall again, but on a part time contract as hes wanting to start a career outwith football.

Sounds like shite as I didn't think you ran with part time players?

We have two part time players.

Carlisle seem pretty confident he’s going to sign a new deal.

If he did sign, could he replace Crawford in central midfield? Or is he more of a wide/attacking midfielder?

He’s an attacking midfielder but there is not a hope in hell we will get him on our vastly reduced budget.

Offering PT deals just shows how dire a situation we are in.

Don’t see why he would want him. He wasn’t exactly a stand out.

True but remember when he signed him he was thinking already about getting him permanently, maybe wasn't as good as expected. Like McDaid thought he could be someone who'd McCall could get firing on all cylinders with a full season with him.

He’d probably be an upgrade on what we’ve got then so if he wants to go PT surely we should consider it. Besides if McCall has got in touch with him and is still interested then we can likely afford him. We wouldn’t waste our time chasing someone we couldn’t afford.

I’d only take him if it was on a full time basis. Too many PT players and we start going down the hybrid route which is not the route we should be taking.

i reckon we’ll get Doohan and that will be our it lot.

You think we’ll sign one more player this summer?

I'd imagine the club will fold within the hour.

I find ayrunitedfw's posts work best if you imagine melancholy violin music as an accompaniment.
