Yes we stayed up. But reportedly had a bigger budget before. Went weeks without a win and played some honking football. Last season we hoped Hopkin would have a clear out and not sign any of his Morton duds. it went badly. This summer, folk were looking for big changes but they have offered the bulk of a poor team new deals with the majority of the best performers yet to sign on. I think we are in a better state off the pitch in terms of stability and planning but that has to make it on to the pitch at some point. There were signs in the last 4 games that we were starting to get a team performing together but it was as a result of changes a lot of people were looking for for a while before they happened. I don’t think it is negativity to want the team to avoid making mistakes or for performances to improve.

Thumper
Impressive to see the first clap-harder of the close season coming while the playoffs are still on. -

These two teams will add f**k all to the Championship apart from being cannon fodder. I wish they would both stay down.

Or better still a Brechin!

Probably improves it if anything, also means you don’t need to listen to David hopkin slevering shite
diegomarahenry
Based solely on that Eeeh-Aye-OH-Eeeh-Aye-OH Airdrie song I hope Queens Park come up f**k listening to that 4 times a season again.
Thumper
Shite team, shite ground, shite strip. If you're on telly for a promotion decider and you still have entire empty stands you should be required to forfeit. -
Thumper
Hopkin suddenly ecstatic that Airdrie need to resort to his specialist style to try to get back into this. -

With them and Cove up our division just becomes a much more difficult place to be .

Neither will be cannon fodder and it’s crucial we get our recruitment spot on. It’s clear that we aren’t going to get the rebuild that many think we need so it we’re only adding 5 or 6 then every signing we make need to be a success and able to come in and improve the starting 11.
Superhursty7
Next season will be interesting maybe not the big clubs of previous seasons who will expect to skoosh the league, I'd expect St Johnstone to win the play off final so Dundee will be the early favourites but they look in a bit of a mess just now, two clubs coming in with big ambition and apparently money to spend it could be the tightest in years let's hope we are well on or way to getting our recruitment sorted early because a fast start will be need.
diegomarahenry
Neither Cove or Queens Park have bought or signed players that would command silly money, they haven’t signed players that should be playing above the middle of the Championship. Be interesting to see if that changes now or if they will content with the slow build and signing the kind of players they have been.
D'Jaffo
Aye I don’t think either team are going to pose any immediate threat but given time they could overtake us if we don’t get it right.
rb123!
Going to be an interesting league next year, quite a few unknowns too with the likes of Arbroath, Cove and Queens Park. Wouldn't be surprised if there's quite a split between top half and bottom half Arbroath Ayr United Cove Rangers Dundee Greenock Morton Hamiton Inverness/St Johnstone Partick Thistle Queens Park Raith Rovers
