A completely different player in both the roles they're asked to play for the team and in their respective strengths. Crawford's at his best in the final third, linking up play in and around the box or arriving late at the end of a flowing move. Best in a middle 3 as well, where he has that freedom to get forward. I wouldn't have minded both in our current midfield with one other! As an academy product I'd have loved him to come back but it wasn't to be. Uncle Ian slowly reforming the band.
