Adeloye has gone from a must to keep next season to can see get him out the door in January

that performance was up there with the Arbroath game at the end of last season.

Game was 50/50 until Thistle scored, they scored a second shortly after and Ayr decided the game was gone. Didn’t change the style of play despite changing the players.
Thistle sat back in the second half and allowed us to pass the ball between centre half’s and Nick fucking McCallister knowing we would just keep doing that until someone gave the ball away. Adeloye sauntered about looking bored and Afolabi spent most of the afternoon chasing his first touch.

there was no urgency and absolutely no desire to get back in to the game, had thistle kept going in the second half of could have been 6 or 7 in the end.

if we have any more performances like that in the next few weeks, Duffy will be lucky to still be here in January.

absolutely flat. Can’t fault Reading, Chalmers, Murdoch and McKenzie for effort, O’Conner comes on and we continue to play the ball narrow, Bradley and him barely had a kick.

chasing games has caught up with us and today was a shambles. The players and management need a rocket up them tonight.

A fair summary.

McAllister is very young and I want to see some development in him but he is woeful both defensively and offensively and poor on the ball too.

Adeloye was genuinely horrific. That both him and Afolabi (who at least offered the odd thing in the first half) lasted until ten minutes from time was laughable - how bad did they need to get before Moffat came on.

Think there may be a few removing themselves from 'Team Duffy' after that. Won a few after Hopkin left and got the job, downhill from there.....

Today was the first nail as far as I am concerned. A few players were miles off it today and there was not one player or coach trying to lift it. 3 points off bottom and grinding out the odd draw is a grim position. From the performance today, I don’t think a lot of them realise how bad it could get.

Yes, couldn't believe he took off McKenzie who was at least working hard and left Adeloye on who was yet again lazy and uninterested.

Our biggest problem is that we don't work hard enough out of possession. We make it too easy for teams against us.

A few of them have a first, or second, touch bordering on the horrendous. Tomi shut his own good run through on goal in the first half and McAllister has a fondness for these wild shanks masquerading as a pass.

Was pretty much level with Adeloye in when the second went in, he just looked utterly scunnered. Can't blame him, he's clearly comfortable at this level and really could offer us something, but we just don't offer him anything.

There have been plenty of times where Adeloye has had the excuse of poor service and no one close to him, today wasn’t one of them.

Nunerous balls into his chest/feet, the vast majority of the time it was a dreadful touch or he was bullied by the guy smaller than him. He was awful.

If Dunfermline beat us next week, they'll be on equal points. Someone needs to get in the Ayr changing room and give these players the shiters. I'd hope Davie Smith would throw money at a squad in January, it's the only way to stop Ayr sliding down.
