For all you've been bemoaning your options at centre forward, look at the state of ours. There've been frequent complaints about how terrible Jack Baird has been for you - he's been the second best of the eight centre backs Hopkin signed over his 18 months in charge of us. Even at that the only who's been better in Ledger, by virtue of being an unspectacular 7/10 every week, didn't play a single game at centre back until after Hopkin left because we had no right back. While we have good central midfield options, there's a drop off to players far worse than Chalmers, Miller or an out of position Muirhead; we still had to resort to putting Cameron Blues on the pitch on Saturday. I just wish we had Williamson and Hamilton at the start of the season. Look at the difference in results since we got those 2. If we had them from the start of the season I think we’d be in a better position. We only got 5 points from the first 9 games. Ayr do not "deserve" to have gates of 1000 any more than Hamilton do, and Hamilton have been an absolute pile of garbage wedged into the relegation zone of the SPL for the last 15 years like a tampon in an airplane toilet.
