Agree, I'd have taken him back in a minute as never thought he got the credit he deserved from some quarters, he made about 3 blunders in 2 years but saved us on umpteen occasions which some seem to forget. As a read across we've now got a Finnish U21 international who's on the books of Aston villa, so you'd expect a similar level to young Ross and if so that'll do us just fine !!

Happy to continue our raiding of the North East for players, after the last ones you gave us. As bizarre as this sounds the worst thing he could have done was score against Rangers on his debut. He's scored a couple since then but he's never been big enough or had the all-round game to thrive while we were playing the way were. We're playing better football and it would suit him but we suffered injuries and needed back up and then he ended up with Covid after going out on the lash and he was suddenly third choice. Cosgrove is now back so he'll be 5th choice at best.

callum-ayr
I’d like to see McKenzie get a start and have Anderson in the bench. Good chance to get him opening his Ayr account and a bit of confidence in him.

Playing with Zanatta is like playing with 10 men whenever the game isnt going exactly his way so McCowan might have to learn to do just that. Anyway, despite that, hope you lot have a good season. What's the expectations this time around? Challenging for play-offs?
