I seem to remember he was signed on TV in a kind of Blue Peter type / kids programme, perhaps with a club director in attendance at the time?

Mind probably games! 😂😂

That was late 70s and early 80s. There was a programme in the 90s with a young actor who supported Ayr. No idea what it was called though.

I think we're all showing our age here !!!

I think you're right. I'm sure it's mentioned in one of Duncan Carmichael's books. Probably Volume 1 of The History of Ayr United.

Ecrepont was lined up for Annan as well it seems.

I think we should be loaning out our young guys in the senior leagues. Especially when they aren't even getting on the bench.

I'm also all for helping Peter Murphy as well, great player.

I'll need to go back and pause it at the whiteboard.

Ins

Budget +1600 (20)

Drinan  -200

Gillespie -400

Tiffoney- 350

                -500

                -500

Maybe the last two are the wages freed up from Guff and Doolan.

I'll definitely need to watch it back now... is that is weekly wage/contribution to parent club?

Spoiler

I'm hoping they are totally made up numbers and its mind games from Mark & Mick.

Assume so, sounds about right in terms of what we are paying. Drinan seems a bit low though.

Pretty good feature, pleasantly surprised at how much detail Kerr and McCardle are seemingly going into. Looks like you can't get moving in the gaffers office for whiteboards.

£2k for one of those gps trackers ooft, someone at the club is paying a small fortune to allow us to have that stuff.

If that’s weekly wages, then Gillespie on £400 a week is about £350 too much
