If anyone needed any evidence that Dipo carried this team, then tonight was it. Shocking performance all round and can't think of a single player who deserved pass marks, except Albinson who was left exposed time and again by the brittle defending. Poor clearance led to the first goal and was compounded by Reading ignoring the warning he got a full 15 seconds previously about the ball being played in behind him. Just track the runner, FFS. 2nd and 3rd goals were so similar as we gave up cheap possession rather than be patient, then the midfield just disappeared, letting Thistle saunter upfield unhindered before the full backs stood off to allow a cross to the big thug who wasn't being tracked. Not one midfielder was busting a gut to get back and the central defenders were caught ball watching.

Worryingly, we have seen a lot of performances like that this season but we were either bailed out by Dipo or got off lightly by opponents not taking chances. This team needs major surgery next season or we will be in trouble at the other end of the table without Dipo.

We really shouldn’t be surprised but it’s still annoying as f**k. Any team with any sort of mild quality out wide can hurt us so when you have Fitzpatrick and Lawless in your side it’s going to be a long 90 minutes. We are utterly incapable of stopping crosses coming into the box and we basically conceded the same goal three times.

Positives were the first ten minutes really. Thought we looked okay but you could tell nothing was going to stick without Dipo.

Last game on the terraces as it is at Somerset next week and then a big job over the summer to fix the squad.

You cannot go from worshipping the squad and manager last week to calling for their heads the next. If Bullen wants to stay then he gets a crack at next season but he needs a good start and any sort of mid season collapse akin to this season will see him away.

Who cares.

We should set up the exact same way so that we get humped and that bald c**t gets sacked (not going to happen)

eta- the sacked part won’t happen and the humped part definitely will

McGinty especially.

That’s a bizarre comment.  McGinty played fine.  The problem defensively was the 2 full backs who were predictably blown away by Tiffoney and Lawless.  That’s where all 3 goals came from.  Puzzled as to why we didn’t start McCallister if I’m honest.

I think we all knew we were screwed when the news came through that Dipo was out - suspect the players thought the same.

I watched every goal when we lost 7 against ICT at Somerset once. That got to the stage where I found it funny.

Today hurt so much more.

What made it worse is that there are no excuses, we were badly beaten and got what we deserved. f**k all.
