Aye it was a good year. Read my brother's books - Black Diamonds and the Blue Brazil and Helicopter Dreams . Whole generations of my family suffer from mad Cowden disease :1eye

I honestly can’t tell if you are serious but if you are then fair play and holy f**k. That’s some going.

Gave up when he said that how far the club has come when we were disappointed with a cup quater final exit. Can't believe that was the first thing that came out of his mouth.

He really doesn't understand why fans are so deflated after Monday. Any league one side would be gutted going out in the quarter finals if they had the piss easy run we did.

To lose on Monday night with so much at stake was criminal. Completely self inflicted as well.

McCall was the exact same against Talbot. At least that defeat provided a bit of a laugh though.

Arbroath doing us a favour tonight.

Not really (see the last couple of pages of Cowdenbeath chat). Recall that the worst thing that ever happened to Greenock Morten was making the playoffs.

As a club and in the bigger picture there has been definite progress, whether folk on here like to admit it or not and we have the foundations in place to keep growing.

Faults and flaws? Without doubt.

Room for improvement? Absolutely.

Still hurting after Monday night? Definitely.

Like most things in life as to where we currently are as a club, the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Massive room for improvement but far from complete no hopers either.

At the start of the season and after the League Cup campaign, we'd all have taken that.

On balance we probably are a team that's anywhere between 3rd and 6th in this league.

We massively overachieved at the start of the season and now things are flattening out. This variance happens every season, in every league the world over.

Let's see where we end up and try to keep looking forward.

Anyone else nervous for today? My temperament hasn't settled since Monday, so I really expect a win today 😐

Though Hamilton are doing well just now, be a tough one away from Home. Just hope there's something to cheer about after that shite against Falkirk.
