AUFC 1910
Will never get them all right (re Bangala) but since Bullen came in, we’ve had most turn out fine - which is pretty good going at this level and budget. Think we have seen enough come in over the years that are uninterested to know when we see a good one
Jeff Venom
Bryden's pass for the third goal is magnifique. He's been characterised a bit as being just a runner, not technical etc, but to execute that pass, as well as his goal last Friday takes confidence and ability. Caveat is of course that we were playing Cove who look absolutely toast at this moment, but hopefully we're starting to see more to Bryden's game with the more time he spends with good pros around him and game time.
ComradeDiego
I’d put Bangala in the same bracket as Gondoh

The latter currently play for the badge, want the team to do well and give their all. Bullen has done a magnificent job in bringing in hungry footballers. Light and day next to the Hopkin/Duffy era, it's a massive difference between then and now, coming into a game tomorrow that could see Ayr top the league as opposed to a kick on the arse off the bottom at the same time last year. *All Ayr players have came on leaps and bounds under Bullen. Totally this - and the same applies to the other academy boys. They'll learn good habits from the likes of Dempsey, Mullin, McAllister and Akinyemi in training and on match days - the mindset/application of those guys is top drawer .

Bullen rates Bryden very highly, I remember him saying at the vision night that he wanted to send him down to Burnley so they could give their honest evaluation of him against their young guys of a similar age. If I remember correctly, Bullen's exact words were "we think we've got a cracker here".

Superhursty7
Signings of the Bullen/Mathie/Glendinning revolution, don't think I've missed any one. Ashford - Good squad player always gives 100% but is never a strikers seams a good lad to have amongst the squad. 6 out of 10. Gondoh - Again a really bubbly figure but Bullen quickly sussed he was not up the level and didn't play much after that. 2 out of 10. McInroy - Two goals against Hamilton and QOTS that probably kept us up a yard or two pace and he would be a top 6 midfield in the prem. 8.5 out of 10. Rowe - Hard to judge injured almost straight away and only had a few sub appearances, so no rating. Dempsey - Brilliant signing if he was not injured we would have been safe well before the final game last season, great bit of business getting him on a 3 year deal. 9 out of 10 Kenyon - Brought in as squad filler and was never fully fit, experience would have helped a really young squad. 5 out of 10 Mullen - love this guy goals, assists and has the experience. Thank the wee man he's here to at least the end of the season. 10 out of 10 Musonda - We play better football when he's in the team, just hope this is not the start of the injury problems Rovers fans warned us about 7.5 out of 10 JML - The wee man is now coming on to a game after a shaky start. 6 out of 10 Dipo - What a guy, can do it all, enjoy him whist he's here 11 out of 10 Charmers - Short but sweet, some brilliant assists and goals. 8 out of 10 Bangala - With all the hype he's always going to brilliant or mince no in between hopefully the loan to cove gets him up and running. 2 out of 10 Young - Injured/homesick after a promising start. 4 out of 10 Kirk - Exact opposite of Young, howler against QOTS in the cup but has settled in well, scored a few vital goals and I think we are all delighted his injury was not as bad as first feared. 8 out of 10 McAlear - Not played yet but could be a brilliant bit of business. All in all not many busts and loads of successes. Edited February 2, 2023 by Superhursy7

D'Jaffo
Rowe, Gondoh and Kenyon would get 0/10 for me. None of them really contributed on the pitch at all. Edit: In fairness to Kenyon he was brought in as a squad filler for a couple of months and apparently was well respected in the dressing room. Was completely passed by at this level though. Gondoh seemed like a good addition to the dressing room though, guy always had a smile on his face and seemed genuinely delighted for his team mates when they were doing well A lot of people were pinning that fact on McGinty when he was selling the jersey, so why can't it apply to others?
