In fairness this is the first time he's had the same manager for a year but concerns would be he's not showed any improvement since. Attacking wise he seems reluctant to cross from deep and most of his crosses from the byline go out for a throw in, corner or goal kick. IMO his next move is probably the National League or below. All about opinions, but in mine he has been one of our best performers consistently over the past 2 seasons and I was happy when he signed the extension. As for Reading he’s been consistently shite at most things for at least a year now. For a year or two after signing he was still at school part of the week so has only been proper!y full-time for a year or two. I would love to see him get 90 minutes in his best position. Aye fair enough- I'm kind of contradicting myself in posts as I definitely want new faces in and feel we are of course weaker now after losing Chalmers - however I hope if we do play poorly and get beat tonight it's not just blamed on a general lack of signings etc - unless there are new injuries that we don't know about then the manager should be able to select a team tonight that can go and win this game, Cove with a few new faces or not. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
