They have obviously tried to liven it up - B teams, Irish and Welsh teams. I used to get annoyed at Reid who treated it with utter contempt. In my old age I have started to arrive at that view and yet it gave me one of the best away trips I've had down to Wrexham. It's a weird enigma of a tournament. Give some of the younger guys like Viviani and Max Guthrie a shot. I'm kind of the opinion you use the early rounds to give a couple of younger players a chance from the start and others who have been on bench a lot some competitive minutes. So at the moment that would maybe be 1 or 2 like those you mentioned, plus starts for Bangala / Hewitt / Bryden / Smith / JMLetc depending on situation at the time.
