Having had the new badge now for a good few years, I genuinely prefer and like it better as well. It's definitely a nicer badge.Think the nostalgia will depend on the age of the supporter as my first Ayr game was early Seventies and would have been at a time when we didn’t have a badge on the strip (like I think most teams) or there was AUFC in a diagonal script which was popular at the time. Here’s our Panini stickers from I think 1978 which shows how it looked. Those late 70s and early 80s strips didn't have sharing for a start.
