Now there is a blast from the past was at the game

I met his daughter and partner in a pub in Glasgow one time she helped to find my contract they were from Paisley but Bryce used to live in Kilbirnie back then

Didn't know Tommy ever stayed in Kilbirnie (did manage Ladeside though), however Jim Hughes certainly did live in Kilbirnie and was a schoolteacher at Moorpark.

Nice to see Ashford and Bryden get on the score sheet today even if it's glorified training session, strikers thrive on confidence so will have given them a boost, hopefully Dipo can get one or two against Darvel next week, looks like we have set up 442 these two games so maybe he's not playing the 433 a lot of us assumed he would.

How many more signings are we realistically looking for? 4?

An experienced centre back
A centre midfielder
An attacking midfielder
A forward. Maybe a striker who can also play wide in front three?

Just getting in there before anyone suggests Griffiths. It’s a hard no from me.

If we've no plans to put the ball into the box he wouldn't help us.

A centre midfielder - Crawford
An attacking midfielder - Sibbald?
A forward. Maybe a striker who can also play wide in front three? - Prince Henry

Thats what I would be expecting. For me priority is another CH and  Striker as we dont have proper cover for either.

Im assuming CH would be a perm signing but the other 3 may be loans so we could be waiting a while for those, unless it is Sibbald / Crawford

Griffiths is in the same camp as Broadfoot for me. Too much baggage irrespective of their ability on the pitch.

I don't think attitude or baggage wise either Griffiths or Broadfoot would be Bullens cup of tea, no idea who the center back might be but hoping it's not a young loanee if we were to bring in Henry, Crawford and Sibbald I'd be delighted.

Broadfoot’s attitude is absolutely fine. It’s his age and mobility that’s the issue.
