Did we not have Sakeld up top as well, or did he come off the bench to score?

Played Adeloye and McKenzie up front. Salkeld came on at some point. We didn’t score in that game.

It's weird hearing Hopkin talking about midfields and pivots and such like when his one tactic at Ayr was to get the ball launched up the park as soon and as far as possible.

I'll never forget Hamilton away in the League Cup. My first experience of Hoppy Ball. I was shocked that this was what we were in for. Of course we won and I assumed everything was going to be fine...

Sorry got confused had meant the first game at Hamilton, not his last

Rumour has it that Bullen voted Tory, so I guess you’ll want him sacked nowemoji848.png

If that man is not a socialist I'll eat my hat lol

He is bald and loaded, so it's a tossup.

It's silly to fret over the backroom staff IMO, with the exception that obviously White is the most important person at the club (not least because he is empirically the best manager). None of their impact is observed first-hand by the punters. Whoever the manager wants is probably fine.

Salkeld was a player you couldn’t really dislike. He was shite however he always tried. Unlike like the likes of Joe Chalmers who clearly had ability but was a complete and utter shitebag.

Salkeld was the definition of a headless chicken and Chalmers was the definition of an empty jersey.

the fact we got money for him is absolutely astounding

At least you knew Salkeld was giving 100% as limited as he was, Chalmers did not look like he gave a care, I thought it was maybe because he was unhappy at the club but he's done the exact same thing at the pars.

I've said this before, I am going to say it again.

I absolutely refuse to believe that Joe Chalmers ever played in the Premiership.

I gave it a fair good go.

I don’t buy that he wasn’t a shitebag. Aye he ran about but he also hid a large amount of time and shat out of any 50/50.

Salkeld wasn't even let go for being mince, was he? It was because he ended up getting injured for the duration of his contract.

Aye he was ruled out for the season. He’d kinda dropped out the team prior to that under Duffy I think.

An absolutely terrible footballer and i can safely say my heart sank every time he was on the pitch. Salkeld the player summed up the Hopkin era; no real position, lack of football ability, lots of physical fitness and running, one good game every 15!
