The Morton guys found a loop hole, fair play to them as they’ve wanted to be at the game enough to pay pretty much double price per head to attend. We’re only greeting about it because we lost. Lessons learned by the club I’m sure and we move on. At least we made some money from it!

You're completely missing the point. If they get to attend the match by sponsoring the ball then fine. No problem. But place them in a separate area away from the home support, because home fans should not have to put up with being sworn at and wound up by Away fans in amongst them. It's nothing to do with "greeting cos we lost", it should never have been allowed to happen.

They weren't.  The match and match ball sponsors are additional to the number cause everyone is just making it up.

Well, there's something far wrong then when we're denying our own season ticket holders but letting in opposition "fans" just because the paid an extra couple of pounds each.

If that's the direction we're heading then I'm finished.

We've got 2 full backs who are incapable of cutting out crosses and a centre forward like a sloth,  mid field who struggle to find each other with a pass and 2 centre halfs who can't stay close to their man when a ball is played into the box. A clear out is needed fast.

Would have been some laugh if they'd announced Gavin Reilly as MOTM

Big bad Morton fans bullying the poor Ayr fans?

Was there not like 500 of you against a couple of drunk Morton fans. Imagine swearing at the football, whatever next  FYI, there was plenty of swearing at them when they were escorted out, could hear it clearly on the stream

You seem like a right laugh, canny take a bit of banter.

Excellent point and you've pretty much nailed why it shouldn't have happened.

Lots of red rag waving at the bull, but we all know the reaction when the Bull responds and gores the matador..........

To be fair I wasn’t so didn’t hear any of the language but I still don’t think it’s that big of a deal.

It wasn't "banter" it was a bunch of drunken dicks looking for bother and who were seriously affecting the enjoyment of quite a few people around them.

We're talking women, elderly etc and not the Somerset young team.

To be fair, they were more to be pitied than laughed at. McKinnon Bros. property maintenance Port Glasgow? I take it Port Glasgow makes sighthill look like Beverley Hills?

Anyway I thought we were rancid for about 70 mins today. Been a really positive couple of weeks for the club and we’re definitely going in the right direction but with the 3 below us all picking up points and particularly Morton’s upturn in form (I thought they were certs for 10th a couple of weeks ago) we’ve got a real battle on our hands to finish outside the bottom 2 that’s for sure.

Pished, singing Morton songs in a section full of Ayr fans, cheering when Morton scored, shouting at swearing at and winding up all the Ayr fans round about them. Absolute disgrace.

Pish performance. Regressed today after good displays against Raith and Arbroath. Adeloye looks bored as fck out there. Still think QOS will be relegated. Those were "big" wins today for Dunfermline and Morton.

As for the Morton fans there, cant believe the club didnt do checks on who the sponsors were. Not a good look for us. Them getting moved to another area after being drunk, cheering the goal etc just gives our fans free reign to do what they like and if they're ejected they can just say "aw just move us to another area like you did with the Morton mob. Heard they were in the hub afterwards as well. Can honestly see the hub being more hassle than it's worth at times if away fans are allowed in especially if theyve beaten us.

I agree with this. Fair play to them. I suppose if they'd owned up to being Morton fans they might not have got in, but ideally they should have been segregated.

Regarding Morton, they have improved a LOT over the last month!

Anyway, looking forward to next week. I have created a match thread:

Do you think a lot of your fans might stay away now, after today's result? Despite the train service being crap I'm expecting us to travel in big numbers.
