Anyone else want to "strike whilst the iron is hot" and play Killie next week? Saw their gk got sent off so not sure of it's a 1 or 2 game ban.

Maxwell was great today. I hear his old man is an Ayr fan but a few months back stranraer posted something about him being a mascot when he was young and it says his dad supports them. Unsure if they meant them or us. Regardless, hope he stays and we build on that great performance today

He was a mascot for us, Duncan actually included it in a recent online programme.

Damn. Was hoping to carry the monentum from today into that. When in Feb can we squeeze it in? Midweek?

Likely the same midweek as all the rearranged Premiership derbies , think that is around the first midweek

I would imagine it'll be Tuesday 1st February, can't imagine PC Plod wanting Old Firm and Ayrshire Derby fans on the same night all in the same pubs potentially!!

Maxwell is a promising young player but, at times, still seems to think he's playing at pro-youth level and tries to hold on to the ball for too long and loses possession. Today, he got much more right and was outstanding. When he works out when to make earlier passes, what a player he could become.

Personally Id find it ridiculous if the game v killie is off. Dundee asked for a postponement of their game today due to being riddled with covid. A genuine reason which was knocked back, not just to boost Billy Bowie’s coffers.

If both clubs are in agreement then I don't really see the problem given the circumstances of close to no crowds. If a team is requesting a postponement for covid reasons then it's a different matter as they are the only party that doesn't want the game played.

Would much rather we had a team of players who's first thought is to keep the ball and that they have the confidence in themselves and more often than not, the ability to do so.

As opposed to the centre backs who just seem to have a competition between themselves to see who can kick it the highest and furthest.

I agree, keep the ball not lose it. Hoofball and trying to beat too many opposition players seem to result in the same thing.
