I'm probably in the minority here, however I've felt that McGinty has been far better than Fjortoft from what I've seen so far. Part of the problem with McGinty is that 90% of our support already had the preconceived idea of his limitations so in relation to a few others I don't really think he's been given a fair crack of the whip as it were. Baird, Fjortoft and McGinty could come into criticism for all many different reasons and with plenty more expected this season, with Muirhead moved in front of them in midfield to avoid any blame on this one Though I do agree with you, that some of the criticism is harsh, I will say that with the set up today, Fjortoft would be a better fit as opposed to McGinty. I feel he makes many basic mistakes. Like launching the ball into orbit at any opportunity. Fjortoft however, can pass a ball and play from the back.....sometimes Though it is either or at the back, they are not the worst in the world like you said (Will Argue Jamie Hammill of Stranraer fc, please do give a better one ) Hopefully, fingers crossed, Jim Duffy has changed a few of the players way of thinking and they play proper football 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
