I suspect Moff may well move into coaching, but I'd think it would be more an S&C role or specialist working with forwards rather than a team manager.  It doesn't strike me as his thing, and I mean that as no offence to him whatsoever.

Anyone fancy lambert for the hot seat?

obviously a joke lol 😂

Don't see why not, if it was to the end of the season anyway.

I’d be surprised if he doesn’t have a clause stating he would have to pay to manage again this season. It’s normally what happens when it’s mutual consent in England

Yeah, given his contract ran to 2025 I expect any team picking him up will have to buy him out of whatever arrangement he reached with Ipswich.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t. I think we should maybe wait to see if the new manager would want him

Nah I’m not having a go at you.

I just don’t think it’s a good idea to be signing players when the manager that wanted him is out the door. We won’t be appointing a new manager for another 2 weeks at least I’d say so it’s better not to waste any more of this guys time and let him go home.

As for the guy throwing his toys out the pram however this kind of thing will happen all the time in football so he can’t have any complaints about not being prepared.

Apparently he has 2 goals in 24 games that’s all so probably wouldn’t have set the heather alight

Just sounds like a bit of a desperate signing for Kerr as well.

Edit: the only reason the guy will be raging is because he’s missed out on his agents fee.

@Robbo63 guess this is the guy you were referring too?

That’s him , he was at game on Saturday , decent at training but I thought he was similar to what we had , he would have been cover for McCowan Walsh or Smith , if he was fit enough to start I think Kerr would have signed him earlier as he had been at training for nearly 3 weeks , believe he had to prove his fitness

Why would it take a month to sign him?

He was not match fit  when he arrived , Kerr done right thing I believe and got him into training  to prove his fitness , if he signed him when he came he would need to pay him for 3 weeks knowing he was not fit enough to play

This post on SRE has a whiff of "I signed up for an online football agents course on FB" all over it....

Sad state of affairs if MK was relying on fans/part time online agents lining up players...
Sounds very desperate to me...
Yep, an agent going in a huff on a fans Facebook page is just amateurish
