A few musings of mine -

We wouldnt be in this position if fans were at games. By that token Kerr would be gone by now if fans were there!

As much as I liked the McCall style of play and the joy his teams brought us (17/18 squad especially, closely followed by 18/19 pre Ross county game in Dec), I dont want someone back who ditched us. It's like a guy punting his loving and dotting Mrs to go back to his first love, only for that to go tits up and the stupid Mrs takes him back.

Tbf i don't think i'd want to ask Kerr "Do you still think you're the man to lead the club forward".

He'd either walk off or go into a 5 minute Billy Brown tirade which would just look even more embarissing

Fair point, however, there's got to be something in between. Those two questions felt like fillers. How about a question about Wright, when will he be back? Even ask about next week's game or are we going to do anything different in training? That's a bit more meaningful.

I was never a big Scott McLaughlin fan and this is only one side of a story but it always sticks in my mind when White is discussed.

First mention is at 41 mins and again just after 49 mins. Doesn't paint a great picture.

Thanks for that, guy sounds like a total snake.

The biggest problem Roberts and White had was that White was put into the coaching role to help the transition of youngsters from the Academy to the first team. It never materialised and Roberts just signed his shite mates in the first season. IIRC a night out under him as boss ended up with a youth player punching Roberts.

ETA I think it may have been Lonridgde, Roberts I’m sure just belittled him till he left over the play off red card v Airdrie.

Was willing to give Kerr the time until the league games evened itself out, but we needed to be winning games like that today. Big baws needed from the Chairman in the next couple of days.

Experimenting with Nbada in midfield over Murdoch (think he has lost confidence after his knee injury)  McGavin & even himself is desperation at trying to find something that will work. At least put Muirhead in there that hes tried before. Nbada hasnt actually played in his natural position yet.

Chalmers extremely sloppy, Zanatta again ineffective, he had a few really good chances he never took. For all the hype Cammy Smith hasnt contributed much in my opinion recently.

Place needs a shake up pronto

Seems like a broken man anyway, not nice to see.

Yeah it's not nice to see, I do feel for him. The sentimental fool in me would be happy enough if he stayed on as an assistant, but even he must realise he can't turn it around. If he resigns I would actually respect him for recognising his short comings.

I'm torn because I think the analytics /sports science approach is the only way forward in the long term and Kerr losing his job will feel like a win for the 'football is simple, just put the laptops away and shout at the players until they play better ' school. But results are really bad and the manager is completely uninspiring.

Your backing of the theory and modern thinking is correct. . Our current style of play is a desperate hoof up the pitch so where does the latest science fit intro that ?
