That was my view a couple of weeks ago.

However, every time I see his coupon on the TV I'm becoming more and more convinced he is a dentist enjoying the lime light a little too much. He's getting like some of the ITK people on here.

Agree. He absolutely loves the sound of his own voice.

300 season tickets sold. Not sure if that's good or bad figures compared to usual for the first couple of weeks of sales

7 weeks from season starting last year we were just over double figures , so that’s a promising start , last season majority of fans bought within 3 weeks of season starting and approx 30% last 4 days before starting, we have had a large number of first time buyers this season

The Aberdeen game was going ahead with whoever was left until the government stepped in, the government postponed all Aberdeen and Celtic games for two weeks. Seems strange that they called it off when the SPFL could have announced it. Thats why I thought there would be a contractual reason for them doing it.

Strictly the Govt did not postpone the Aberdeen and Celtic games. The Govt can't do that. They either allow football or they don't (although they could impose a local lockdown on the venues). Only the SPFL can decide what individual fixtures are going ahead. The SPFL postponed these games. However, they did so ONLY when the Govt made it clear that they expected them postponed and they believed there was a likelihood that if they didn't comply then they'd pull the rug out from football full stop.

Not having that, Jason Leitch is one of the only people to come out of this whole fiasco with any sort of credit.

See a hearts fan has just started a new thread about corruption in Scottish Football.

The fact they've not even been able to spell corruption correct gives enough reason to give it a wide berth lol

Apparently Hull City are training in Edinburgh right now at Hearts training ground, so it is all a bit weird to be fair.  Incompetence rather than corupshon I’d wager.

Definitely seems to be a case of the JRG being seen to be doing something. As others have said I fail to see how this helps address the deficiencies of premier league footballers following the rules.

Have they said this delay is so they can brief the lower league clubs and players on the guidelines and what it means for them specifically? I can maybe understand that to a degree but also think it could have been organised for the first day back?

I’m a complete loss as to who the keeper could be. I’ve a feeling it’ll be someone up from down South that we haven’t heard of.

Given the available options up here, I think that might be the best option tbh.
