All true. Premiership sides, and indeed lower division ones with the u21's, will also be missing players who are on international duty too with the matchdays clashing with an international weekend.

Loan market is an option but only if the ideal player is available. Drinan is a possibility but he’ll be trying to earn a spot in the Ipswich team first.

I'm sure he's a great guy but for me he's a fair bit off being an English League One player and for a team challenging at the top end of the table at that.

Sure I read that some other English team were trying to sign one of Ipswich's main forwards, so whether Drinan comes here could be depending on if that goes through.

Bearing in mind his last 2 seasons in the Championship were in relegation fights.

If we’re up the top of the table and hopefully creating chances then he should get double figures.

Look forward to finding out why he can't score 7 goals because he scored less the year before.

Hopefully we’ll have had a few pre season friendlies played before then. I noticed Stranraer have announced 5 friendlies and was surprised we weren’t one of the opponents as we usually are

Apparently we’re lining up friendlies with Premiership sides (reserve sides presumably) for when full time training returns at the end of August.

We will be playing friendlies against some Premiership teams fringe players , Kerr said some games will be arranged for September as players not back full time until 30th August , still part time furloughed only coming back for 2 days a week for first 2 weeks , I would think we will play a couple of teams that our loanee players are with

He might, however he's reached 7 league goals once in his career so far, at a lower level. 

You can be confident he'll get that now, in a shortened season but it's far from a given. Any attacking midfielder/winger who gets 7 over the season will have had a productive one.
