Scott Burns confirmed Forrest is signing a PCA with Livi, glad tbh he's showing a bit of ambition by signing for a premiership club and it's scary to think but Livi have an outside chance of making Europe.

Also isn't ruled out that Livi won't try and sign Forrest before Friday, that's a bit worrying, think Kerso is going to have a busy final two days.

Also makes it difficult that we're playing on Friday night hours before the transfer window shuts, good one BBC.

With McGuffie going I just can’t see Forrest going and I don’t think he’s the type to push for it. Unless they offer us something ridiculous I reckon he’ll stay.

Can't grudge Allan the move, he's going to a most likely top 6 club, if any one is to blame for us not getting any cash for players like Forrerst, Shankland, Rose and potentially Harvie its the short sightedness of either our previous manager or the board for only giving out one year deals to our best players.

Rose, Forrest and Harvie were all on minimum 2 year deals.

I can’t see how the previous manager or the board would not have wanted these players on longer contracts. Perhaps it was the players or their agents that did not want to be tied down on longer contracts

Anyone who thinks these players wanted to sign longer contracts than they did are quite delusional, they signed contracts that they were happy with and that’s a fact , Shankland was offered a longer contract and turned it down

You can't tell them. Fans will continue to shout that all the good players should be on multi year deals and it's incompetence if they aren't. Doesn't matter how often it's pointed out that generally players aren't stupid and won't sign multiple year deals at this level.

Classic Ayr, waiting for 3 in and two go out.

Why keep players that either don’t fit into your plans or were always looking to further their careers , that’s why we are bringing  in more than likely 5 and only 1 definitely leaving in January

5? Does that include Drinan and Houston?

Just Drinan , if everything goes to plan tomorrow, fingers crossed 🤞

It’s amazing the number of fans that don’t grasp the simple fact that you cannot compel players to sign multi-year contracts (assuming we had the finances in the first place).  It clearly doesn’t suit young players to sign them when they can likely move under freedom of contract for better terms.

i do accept its a bit sickening to see players like Devlin, Forrest and Crawford signing for a make believe club that are serial cheats and who have serious questions to answer about where their money comes from these days.

I think the 3rd player Kerr will bring in now will be a wide player. Danny Swanson at St Johnstone anyone?

Yes please.

Mick will be in the dugout on his laptop firing our deals, don't worry.

He’s an absolute nutter by all accounts but I reckon he’d be fine in this league. Is he better as a number 10 or out wide?

He played his best stuff for us on the left, but allowed to float a bit. His recent games have been central.

If his heads in it then he could easily start for us in the top flight, tbh. His wee cameos this season have been filled with him beating folk for fun and pinging some incredible passes about. Stevie May's goal in Dingwall comes from Swanson knocking a 20 yard pass, with the outside of his foot, through both midfield and defence, perfectly weighted to meet May's cross field run.

Only issue is hes struggled since his best mate was killed in front of him a few years ago, and has admitted as such, and I dont think he really enjoys the game anymore tbh. A move and regular games might do him good.
