It's completely unsustainable to lose all these guys for nothing on PCA. Say we'd sold all of our best players recently for some money, this is just a guess at how much we'd have got for them. Shankland - £200,000Rose - £100,000Smith - £80,000Crawford - £50,000McDaid - £50,000Docherty - £30,000 Forrest - £50,000 That would be us sitting with over £550,000 which for a club like us is huge amounts of money. I know people would say if we sold our best players then we wouldn't be where we are but we would be able to actually buy players and also offer good wages to players so we probably wouldn't be worse off. Plus we'd tie in sell on clauses which meant with the likes of Shankland and Rose we'd be laughing to the bank. He would be a very good signing for Kilmarnock where both parties would benefit, anything other than a move upto Premiership level would be a waste of time for him. No wonder nobody is interested in buying the club when the policy is buy hidden gems for free and then sell for free in a few years.In hindsight we could have probably sold Shankland this time last year and got away with it as he was injured and hardly scoring for most of the second half of the season.
