Muirhead cruised it when we won the league in 12/13 but was miles off it in the Premiership. Should be a good signing if it’s just until the end of the season. Would definitely take him back at Firhill.

Given his recent performances for us I'd love to see him back at Firhill [emoji6]

Agreed, I’ve heard from a couple of people that our playing budget this year is close to £500,000

One of McCall or the chairman actually offered that information up at one point in response to valuation of Shankland.  That's why £250,000 isn't attractive to us.

Doubt very much if it will be a “til the end of the season” deal. At 28, he should be at the peak of his career, when in fact, it’s the opposite. He was far from dependable last season, and this year, as a centre back, he has been a disaster. His contract was up at the end of the season, and if he goes to Ayr, it’s got be for a bit more security than just until the summer.

Ayr contacting him while still contracted to Falkirk! Oh! Oh!

Was entitled to speak to other clubs since 1st Jan since his contract was due to expire in the summer but don’t let that retract from your half-witted attempt of  a conspiracy.

Not knowing much about him, the assessment from Falkirk fans makes it hard to muster much optimism. A past it nutter who's a liability with the ball and prone to too many errors. Does take a good penalty though.

Past it at 28?

They said Mark Kerr was done as well. He's. Been surrounded by an entire team of jobbers this season so not surprised if he's been poor.

Bit of a bad week for you guys with your big team getting beat tonight.

Yes, never a great fixture when you two play as there's no favourable outcome.

A horrific 0-0 draw with Wullie Collum refereeing and sending a few off, plus a few injuries picked up by both sides would be my first choice, however not to be, so well done on your victory..................

Killie beat rangers to go clear in second, wait and I’ll post on an Ayr United thread about it :1eye

When their fan stopped singing his Rangers tribute song last night everything else was Ayr. Totally obsessed with us.
