The Ultimate Super Ayr Thread

This Ayr United team could be parading ALOT of silverware down the High Street this season. The sky is the limit for them.
A lot? What else are we odds on for winning now we've got the league wrapped up apparently, Scottish cup?

As exciting as the squad is, think we need to calm the beans a bit with these kind of statements.

Did you not know we are favourites for the champions league and the Europa league??

The Superbowl

The Six Nations

The Copa Del Rey

The Copa America

And, best of all, once I win the lottery we're going to build a time machine and go back and win the 1966 World Cup.

Is Liam Smith eligible to play on a Saturday? Not sure if he featured at all for Hearts in the group stages?

Already checked. He might’ve been on the bench but he never came on.

Not sure if being in the squad but not playing also rules him out but there you go.

We have recruited very well over the summer, not only in keeping Shankland. The signings of Smith and Harvie who have played in the Championship before,  been training full time and look committed to getting better have been hugely positive.

If players like Ferguson and McGuffie click the same way Crawford did and become consistent then we could have 8-9 players under 24 who could  carry the club for a few years, either in performances or transfer fee's.

Ross docherty and Craig Moore starting tonight, Steven Bell at CB. Ecrepont on the bench.

Isn't it great to have depth in an Ayr squad :-)

Let's go pump Gus MacPhersons amatuers!

I'd love to know what McCall is selling to the players.  To keep key players from last season who had other offers, plus sign some great young players has been a terrific statement of intent from the club.  Too easy to criticise when things aren't going well so huge congratulations to the manager and the board for really giving it a go this season.
