Well done lads. I really thought you might be in trouble after the 0-3 game back in February, but Faz spoke about seeing how your young squad responded and it looks like they've responded impressively.

Likely to be big rebuilds for both our squads over the summer with Dom Thomas heading back to Kilmarnock and Kyle Turner presumably off to bigger things - but I'm pleased we can both go into the game next week with no pressure. After seeing us win at Stair Park for the first time ever I'm also pleased that we'll be heading back next season...Although I'll regret that when I've been in the car for what feels like a month to see normal service resumed ;)

Hi guys. How has Ali McCann been doing during his loan?

Brilliant midfielder and could possibly be in Tommy Wright's plans for next season.Has struck up a great partnership with Kyle Turner son of Saints legend Tommy and we'll miss both big time next season.

Has really come on leaps and bounds in the few months he's been with us. Can we have him back for next season?
Probably not. Tommy talking about him and our other young midfielder Kyle McLean, who is on loan at Linfield both being given new contracts and stepping up to the first team squad next season.

Happy enough with that. Deserves his shot, he's been immense for us.

Ali has grown into an adult player. Came in was very tidy, didn't make mistakes but did the simple things. Now he is aggressive in the tackle, picks passes and has the confidence to get beyond the forwards to score. Great attitude and will continue to improve, Saints have a player for sure.

He has a chance to be a top player if he keeps learning and working hard. Would love to have him back but he's ready for the next step up.

This is good to hear, as you say, I think the plan next season will be to get him Championship games for the full season.

Although he'll maybe get Betfred Cup games to stake his claim.

In Question for the Statto’s out there ( possibly 2)

Thinking about our survival this season , that’s us been out of the bottom division since 12 -13 , so next season will be our 7th in the “not the bottom division” , since the reorganisation in 93/94 , is that the longest we have spent in the same division ?

And what is our “record” number of seasons , Not in the bottom division ?

Idle thoughts for the close season !

The fourth tier started in 1994-95 and we managed to avoid it until 2003, so that was 9 successive seasons in the second or third tiers.
