Partick Thistle 2 - 1 Hamilton Academical - Lambie Derby 21st April Twenty Eighteen - did it really happen?

Saturday’s result actually strengthened our position as being the best home team in the bottom six round robin. If nothing else it is still *normal* for us to beat Hamilton at the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill.

Brilliant.  What an absolute child.

Did the brave Hamilton Young Team get bail posted?

There's a joke in there somewhere between Beast Cancer Care, and being made to look like a right tit, but I'm not sure it'll really work.  Like Hamilton's defence.

Caught the highlights just there, and confirmed that we got away with one here.  We were the better side by a distance in the first half an hour without creating anything of note beyond Doolan's one chance.  But then we decided that was a wee bit unfair, and that it would be far more sporting to bring ourselves down a level.  Hamilton are absolutely fucking brutal, but they are usually very effective with it.  Happy to let us have the ball knowing we were going to do f**k all with it.  Always thought that if we somehow managed to claw one back, we would win the game, and so it proved.  Wonderful first goal, even though we were ably assisted by letting Doolan have several acres of land in which to pick out the header.  Great cross from Booth to find him too.  Still not quite sure how Edwards got the second in, but the sexy wee fucker did.  Hopefully that shows the spineless wee shites that we can actually win a game of football if we try, and we can pull away, hopefully consigning Hamilton, finally, to the Championship.  Their ruffian support put me off my quinoa and hummus.

Extra credit to the BBC's wonderful highlights package that managed to miss the meat of the handbags scuffle at the end too.

To be fair he was their best player. He was training with us during close season, but didn’t take the chance on him - presumably because we thought Bannigan and or Fraser would be fit.
He is the kind of creative player that we have lacked this season.

Anyway still ahead of your mob in the league so get it right fucking up yees.

Oh look, there’s the shitebag. The match thread was deleted faster than an investigation into Tory paedophiles.

What is it with Hamilton Accies and shitebaggery? The ‘hardmen’ who were giving it big licks outside of the Vaults in February were absolutely shitting themselves after the game on Saturday. Cowering behind the police on Firhill Road.

Not sure Hamilton would have been too pleased about that considering he was contracted to them.
