England's Glorious Failure

Recommended Posts

England's opposition so far in rankings with them being ranked 12th

Tunisia - 21st

Panama - 55th

Belgium - 3rd

Columbia - 16th

Sweden - 23rd

And with Russia at 66th and Croatia at 15th luck has fair been on their side with the draw this tournament.

And Belgium put out their second string that night, with them both apparently looking to lose that game.

As did England. Don't think you can take anything from that game.

C'mon mate, give me something!

Along the lines of, "even with Belgium trying to lose, Belgium beat them"

or

"It shows how Belgiums 2nd string is better than England 2nd string"

Depth of squad - if any of the first 11 get injured then it could be an issue - obviously less of an issue now as there is less chance of that happening now.

Also it means there may not be the same depth of options available to Southgate in terms of substitutions that are available to Martinez.

Kane is flat track bully.

When it comes to playing the big teams he has often been found out.

At international level, being a flat track bully is often enough. You’ve got enough quality to back you up in games where you’re not having the success otherwise.

In many ways, Scotland are where they are because of the lack of a flat track bully. With them, there are easy games in interviews football.

I don't know what you youngsters are getting your knickers in a twist about - if these f*****s actually win it, it will be the SECOND time in my lifetime that this catastrophe has occurred. Consider that.
