Fixture man strikes again

Recommended Posts

Pollok + Saltcoats both seem to be idle this coming Saturday so why are we not playing our West of Scotland game. Doesn't make sense.

Easier to get to on a Sat than midweek so more chance of a bigger crowd.

Strange one, be waiting until May to play the fixture otherwise. Would be great if the fixture could be added tomorrow!

One of my biggest problems with the region is the treatment of the WoS Cup. Their biggest cup competition and apart from the 1st round & the final it seems to be a complete afterthought

It wouldn't be great it would be common sense and him doing his job correctly for once , if he does change it and issues this fixture then he will receive loads of plaudits lol.

Mon the joonyurs :)

If he notices his mistake, be it by finding it himself or reading P&B or being told by the officials of one of the clubs then great.

If not its ridiculous as no doubt with our only unscheduled league games being Talbot and Hurlford, and our other unscheduled tie being the Saltcoats game, we'll have one of those midweek. Not exactly fair for supporters and players trying to get from Glasgow or further afield to Ayrshire when it could have been done on a Saturday!

Shotts v Whitletts in the West of Scotland Cup has been removed. Whitletts now have Maybole in the league and Shotts have no game.
What the f##k is going on?

Fixtures have been played on same day as Senior Scottish Cup Final in previous seasons. No reason for this to change.

I think Lang vs Newmains was a dress rehearsal for 1st night of the honeymoon.

OFFICIAL- NO GAME FOR LOK /SALTCOATS THIS SAT      BAMBOOZLING.  IF THE CROWD IS DOWN BY EVEN 80 THATS ABOUT £500 REVENUE

WHICH IM SURE SALTCOATS COULD DO WITH ALTHOUGH IT WOULD BE SHARED  .NO WONDER THE JUNIORS ARE DEAD DYING

It makes no sense at all.

Still hope to see it scheduled for the first Saturday in may but if the winner of the tie was to go a few rounds further they'll be playing three times a week to get the final played before next season along with league games and other regional cups.

Surely this can't be true? What was the response when the clubs contacted him?
