Jan Vojáček
Thank you, County. Thank you. Get it right up every single person associated with Connah's Quay Nomads. A classless football team who deserve nothing but the absolute worst. And especially get it right up Andy Morrison. A classless, raging mess of a man who sets his diddy team of hatchetmen up to play some of the most vile football I've ever had to watch.
vikingTON
Bit like Morten then?? Eh no quite the opposite actually, as our manager has his own shite, tippy tappy possession football ‘philosophy’ that bores everyone senseless each week. We’re still not going to be in the seaside leagues though because we’re actually quite a big deal. CQ on the other hand are a well-organised team by pub league standards, with a hammer-throwing approach that nearly had them lifting the cup against the best team in the Scottish lower leagues. That shows just how fruitless Scottish football’s obsession with a passing ‘footballing philosophy’ has been in recent years, but doesn’t show that CQ’s players are actually good enough to play in a totally different style of play at our level.

Doesn't Morton being in a league make it a Seaside League since Greenock is on the coast?
LordHawHaw
Well done Ross county, great second half against a pretty brutal physical team. Edited March 23, 2019 by LordHawHaw

County didn't win this game, the Welsh mob just ran out of juice. That's basically why County looked like an actual football team the last 20 minutes. Hard to grumble after winning a cup but that was an absolutely shocking performance from Ross County.
RossCountyFan14
The goalkeeping in this match has been absolutely horrific. Why does mullin not get a start every week? Him and Gardyne are very obvious automatic starters for county for me.This 100%
RiG
County have a fantastic squad but even they aren't good enough to leave someone with the quality of Mullin on the bench. Unless he is not fully fit he should be starting every single game. An excellent player.
microdave
Well done County. I hope the Nomads miss their train/plane or whatever mode of transport they're using to go home!

Had Nomads taken a chance in the first half when 1 up then it would have been very difficult for County to win. The first half was indeed shocking from Ross County. However Connah's Quay didn't take their chances and created almost nothing in the second half. County had the ball in the Nomads half for most of the second 45 and their pressure got them 3 goals without reply.
