Most likely he's taken it too far and they've just had it with him, but the way they're trying to blur the lines these days, wouldn't be surprised if it's a work. Shame if he is gone though, could have done a lot more with him. Although I do have some sympathy with the company - you're going to get wrestlers that the fans latch on to, but are they going to be enough to build something on, or are the fans chanting his name just going to move on to the next meme once it comes along? Ludo*1 Posted April 17, 2018 Share Posted April 17, 2018 To be fair, if Cena is willing to do the honours to Undertaker, no-one should be immune. Suggests a bad attitude by Rusev. Getting beat by Taker in Saudia Arabia in what is essentially an exhibition match should be considered a privilege. It won't do any further damage to Rusev's character and if he can carry Taker for more than a couple of minutes, then even if it is a squash match, he'll come out looking good.
