Kilwinning Rangers have been on an upward trajectory for a few years now. We ended up in the play offs last year on our first year back, no shame in that. We played some good stuff last season, but were a wee bit naive at times.

This season, apart from possibly the manager, nobody expected us to be competing for the title. Whilst we have been competing, we've also been entertaining, trying to play the game the right way. If we win it we will party hard, if we don't we can reflect on real progress this season on and off the park.

As for Monti, he has been incredible since he came to Buffs, consistent and very often worth the admission money alone, he is a great player at junior level. As for Winters, he has more than played his part, looked very hungry in recent weeks, including an exceptional winner against Beith last week.

Indeed.Monti and Winters needed pastures new as both are talents.When Lok brought Carlo into the juniors many years ago we saw that straight away and it was unfortunate that he didn’t make it at Dundee as that is the platform for his skills and we were very disappointed for him.Im sure if the off field stuff hadn’t got silly Carlo would still have been at Newlandsfield.Davie just seemed jaded after a number of seasons with us and needed a new environment as he is a very good goal poacher.
