deGrom now has 26 consecutive quality starts stretching back to last May. He's now equalled the record. Also homered last night.

The NL East has some terrific talent. The Mets are in a really tough division. They’d be odds on for almost any other division.

Yeah could easily have a better than .500 record and end up 4th. Feel for the Marlins. It'll be a very rough season for them.

Tell you what though, the Nationals aren’t winning anything with that bullpen.

Another Mariners win taking us to an 11-2 start. Jay Bruce with 7 bombs so far as well. Just watched the condensed game there and if you get a chance give it a watch for Dee Gordon’s defensive display at 2nd base. Some lovely stuff from him.

Yankees places Luis Severino on the “injured list” as it’s now called.

Severino looks like a season ender, if it's a rotator cuff surgery.  Guess who drafted him with his first pitching choice.

They said on the atbat round up it wasn’t connected to the rotator cuff injury he suffers in spring. A tricep strain IIRC

Another Mariners win to sweep the Royals last night. Trailing 6-4 with 2 outs in the 9th Mitch Haniger triples 2 home to send it to extras and Daniel Vogelbach wins the game in the 10th with a solo HR! They’ve homered in 15 straight games to start the season which is a record
