Game day and little apparent interest in this one? Is this because both are safe and will enjoy league 2 next season, or have Peterhead beat their fans into submission with the recent inept offerings?

The only thing you can guaranteed in this game, Annan will give it all ‘till the final whistle. Peterhead on the other hand, who knows what will be served up!!!

It looked like it was going to be one of those days that the ball would not go in for us, first half in particular the Annan goal led a charmed life, when the goal came it was a cracker from Jamie Stevenson. The ref was brutal today & Annan were even worse started wasting time within the first 20 minutes & seemed content to foul with impunity & fall over at any chance they got what they deserved nothing.

Probably the most one sided game all season without the goals to show for it. We had 20 (twenty) corner kicks to Annan's 1 but it took a late goal to seal the much deserved win. It was only after we scored that Annan decided they should try some attacks instead of all out defence and time wasting. The antics of some of their players was a disgrace and the ref fell for it each time by stopping play for attention to the con artists. it's still in Montose's hands but it has made things a bit more interesting.

In at 10;30 after a stop for dinner at the Dunnichen Stone.

Annan's Peter Murphy sent out his troops as a Gus McPherson Anti-Football look-alike and thankfully the football gods rewarded them with Feck All.  Fit, Focussed, Committed and cynical if I had to watch this type of football every week Scottish football would have lost another supporter. Positives from them, Hooper's wonder clearance and general play, Moxon, Smith and a somewhat robust defence and the ability to make time-wasting an artform and getting the ref to do nowt about it. They will stay in the league but probably take more away from it than they add.

Despite they're undoubted superiority Peterhead struggled to finish Annan off.  Stevenson's shot/cross gave the Blue Toon the result they deserved although not the score. Karim seemed to be the sub who had the most impact and irked Peter Watson to the degree he got himself a red card.

Clyde next should be tasty !!!

Glad to hear everyone home safe & well (is Willies nose still in one bit) as for Annan they had a ref that in general let them away with GBH this combined with obvious time wasting from early in the first half made the win all the more sweet. We had plenty net bound shots in the first half in particular that did not go in so to get a wee break (or a bit of genius) was well deserved. We have plenty more hard days to come but need meet the challenges to come & we need to win our own games first & foremost, at least we know when Clyde come next week they will be looking to have a go rather than todays opponents tactics today.

Can’t see any reason for a sending off there.

He could have been off for persistent fouling before then but although not clear on the highlights he stood on the lads head for the red. The ref kept warning him & Swinglehurst about trying all in wrestling moves at every corner, free kick, Annan were at during the whole game and got what they deserved.

Defence is our biggest strength at the moment so I would expect us to be as rough as possible against a good side like yours. Obviously I’d prefer us to not be getting players sent off.

Did think given Annans  position being fairly safe they would have come & had a go, as it turned out more or less from the start they were playing for a draw wasting time & generally being a pain. Will be interesting to hear how the Annan Berwick game turns out on Saturday as they were very similar when they came up, it could turn out to be a complete bore or a blood bath.

If our last couple of home games are anything to go buy we will be utterly awful.

Could not understand McInally's team selection. We had a player sitting on the bench who scored a hat-trick last time yet he doesn't get a start! However, when he eventually came on, he was the one who impacted most. Good movement, pressure and strength. The jury is still out at the moment with regards to Karim. He certainly didn't make much of an impact last Saturday when he came on albeit he has good feet but he appears rather lightweight and a bit harum-scarum. For the Clyde match, I'd like to see Rory benched for his total lack of effort & commitment and his consistent petulance. I'd like to see McLean and Smith start and get more value for money.
