I can assure you that dads really not happy about it either but the games need to get played and as you know there’s been a huge number of call offs. Starting back in the first weekend of November.

Your Dad's done a sterling job under very difficult circumstances. The daft things were beyond his control, like giving Cup games priority and the SPFL setting such a ridiculously early date for the Play Offs.

Cove have friends in high places obviously. Don't the playoff dates should have been changed in any way nor would have been if other clubs had been involved.

Cove should count themself lucky the playoffs have been extended from Saturday 21st to 28th April at all, and they've then been allowed to play league games upto Tuesday 24th - otherwise it'd have required much more than a single 'extra' on Easter Monday to finish ontime...


Not unheard of anyway. LTHV in EOSL also play an 'extra' tomorrow (after a cup final yesterday btw); Threave in SOSL have one on Monday 23rd April. Previous examples here:
