Just finished episode 3 and I'm not sure if it's been intentionally made this way or not but before this episode I didn't understand the hate for that Sheela woman. But I now think she's a despicable human being. I assume the locals had seen this side of her before we as viewers did.

Felt exactly the same. When I said this to the missus, who remembers this story while it was happening, she advised me to sit tight and prepare to change my mind.

The defiant ones, docu about Dr. Dre and Jimmy iovine. Brilliant watch.

Didn't even know this existed until Sunday night when I stumbled across it and ended up watching all the episodes back to back. Outstanding viewing.

Pretty sure Dre's mum was just him in a wig though.

Dirty Money, 1hr docos about corporate crimbags, only watched the Trump one so far, nothing we didn’t already know but always worth reminding yourself just how  despicable he really is.

I watched the first two of these. The first was about Volkswagen and the emissions, ok but nothing exciting. The second one was about  a guy in the States who set up a payday loan company and then swindling millions of dollars from his customers with confusing repayment T&Cs. Really interesting, especially as the guy was interviewed quite extensively. Spoiler, but hes been done for it, jailed and fined millions

Three episodes in to Wild Wild Country, a documentary series about a sleepy Oregon town with a population of 40 that out of the blue ends up with thousands of members of a Rajneeshi cult setting up home on a ranch on their back door. Fascinating stuff so far and incredibly well made.

Best thing I've seen in ages.

Finished all 74 episodes of Pablo Escobar - El Patron Del Mal. The whole thing, from start to finish, goes from ridiculously bad to outstanding on a scene by scene basis. Worth watching if you are into all things Escobar but a bit of a slog. I tended to watch a few episodes at a time when I had nothing else to watch, so it took a while. The boy playing Pablo is horrendous(Like a camp caricature at best) in the first half of it all, but from the middle to the end he was tremendous.

Was off ill yesterday which normally means a day on the sofa with a duvet, chicken soup and the box set of Band of Brothers......but changed it up and binged on Happy! instead.

Bloody hell that was awesome.  Chris Meloni (Law & Order) is brilliant in this oddball, dark comedy as an injured hitman who befriends his daughters imaginary friend Happy.....

It'll be interesting to see where they go with it. They can't possibly top the first season. It still gives me a weird feeling when I think back on it. I hope I'm wrong but I can't see them topping that one.

Agree it's probably going to fall short. I watched it back recently and it's an exceptionally well made show. There's clues all the way through it regarding what happens which I didn't really pick up on at the time. The last 4 or 5 episodes are no easier to watch the second time round either

I just can't bring myself to watch the final episode again.

I loved the show, and the book as well for that matter, and I worry that they should've just called it a day after one season. That said, of course I'll be watching it as soon as it's available.

Late go the party with it but I've just started the 2nd season of The Killing. Tremendous television.

What version?

I really enjoyed them both but I thought Joel Kinnaman in the American was outstanding at Holder.
