BBC bias

Recommended Posts

Just listened to DRoss on Radio Scotland.  If he moves to an English constituency that lad could be Prime Minister one day. The way he resolutely refuses to answer simple questions, the talking in long, fast sentences making it hard for interviewers to bring him back to the actual question, the 'whataboutery'... the guy is a natural.

Point taken, Campbell could do with an indefinite period of shutting the f**k up, but take him out and put anyone else in and the point being made is a reasonable one being made in the face of a baffling level of scorn from a journalist.
Mental that where they cant openly defend Boris' actions (Hiya Laura) they resort to just brazenly speaking for the public and saying nobody cares. Running proper, multi layer interference for the c***s now.

There's a decent article in The Guardian as to why all this sleaze and lying won't instantly have any effect on Johnson or The Tories. The fact is that Johnson's lack of morals, his constant lies and rule breaking is already factored into the public's opinion of him.

So when things like this come into the public domain, people shrug their shoulders because it's expected. On top of that, politics is all about identity these days and Johnson is the ultimate populist.....because of that it's easy for voters to dismiss Johnson's behaviour because he says the things that they want to hear.

It makes me think of the Simpsons episode when Homer stands for Sanitation Commissioner against Ray Patterson

Patterson: "If you want an experienced public servant vote for me. But if you want to believe a bunch of crazy promises about garbagemen cleaning your gutters and waxing your car then by all means vote for this sleazy lunatic"

Cut to newspaper headline

"Simpson wins by landslide.

Says Crazy promises key to victory"

VOTE FOR THIS SLEAZY LUNATIC” should be emblazoned on billboards over this picture of daft old loveable rogue (because doesn’t England love an eccentric) Boris.

No anti-Independence bias on the BBC website.  No siree, it’s just coincidence.

A recent "Have I got News for You" had a clip of a Tory MP giving a BBC high heid yin GBH of the lughole because there were no Union Jacks in a recent BBC glossy report.  Maybe the crawling gits are trying to make amends?

Agreed. That anyone can call themselves a journalist and then ask if 12 million views of a video with a pretty narrowly focus shows that there may be widesppread concern about the subject matter shows how far that profession has sunk.

A pity Campbell has made himself the messenger - he'll never be fit to lace Stefanovic's boots - but if it took a "recognisable face" to get this into the mainstream, so be it.

I am assuming that the public acceptance of Boris's immorality and corruption is by in the main tory voters who voted his party in, then by that equation it brings into question their level of what is socially acceptable, in short their own standards must be in line with his.
