BBC bias

Aye that's pretty mental. Considering the letters are still being sent they could have just said "envelop changed colour", whereas if you just read the headline you'd think the letters themselves were delayed.

Just an isolated editorial blip I'm sure.

Listened to the Westminster Hour on R4 catch up, main discussion topic was Sturgeon saying they would legislate for a referendum if they win in May and Boris refuses a section 30. This was the panel, all of whom said it was awful to hold it in the middle of a pandemic, nobody mentioned that she had specifically ruled that out.

Radio 4's Sunday night political discussion programme. With guests Andrew Bowie MP, Conservative party vice chair, Stephanie Peacock MP, shadow environment minister, Salma Shah, broadcaster and former government adviser and columnist Sebastian Payne, Whitehall correspondent, Financial Times.

As expected the BBC and the right wing media are ramping up their blatant attacks on the SNP and Scotland, there will come a time when they will realise that this only resolves and strengthens the Scottish peoples determination to achieve Independence.

Alex Fergusons us against them siege mentality is an example.

My wife who would never class herself as a nationalist gets really riled by the drip-drip of negativity - it's driving someone who was previously a No voter firmly into the Yes camp.

She'll not be alone.

It always amuses me to hear English politicos talk about the rise in support for independence because they're usually pretty out of touch with things in Scotland.

They seemed to think Ms Peacock would know all about because she's from Yorkshire.

You could check the documentary called London Calling. It's on YouTube.

This documentary is well worth a watch which only confirms the anti Independence BBC bias in the most blatant way, it all smacks of big brother 1984 type broadcasting.

Watch it.

And so it goes on... tonight's Six O'Clock News piece by Lorna Gordon completely framing the independence issue around the pandemic. Not a mention of Brexit, austerity-driven poverty, the democratic deficit or a dozen other drivers. And of course, just like the North of England pieces, accompanied by footage of poor, unhealthy-looking locals. They really are a gang.

Glen Campbell giving equivalence to NS and BJ and supposing that they are broadly similar and making the same covid mistakes.

But hold on, he omitted to mention which of the two has a full toolbox and if there are compromises through necessity by the other.

This 'Independence referendum during the pandemic' issue nonsense has been in use by all Scottish Government opposition parties for the last couple of weeks, with the BBC throwing their bit in.

Looks like the tory, liberal and labour parties are singing from the same hymn sheet again, it must be confusing for their respective party supporters

It's similar to the 2014 Project Fear using  the currency issue etc.

We can expect a lot of this in the coming months.
